Charity Williams

Charity Williams, a UNCC senior, completing a Bachelors in Dance with a concentration in choreography, performance, and theory; as well as completing two certificates in Film production and Musical theatre. With a background in choral music, and various genres of dance, she has been seen in community shows, films, and her local UNCC dance concerts. Shows such as: Hair as Emmeretta, and Sheila, Some Enchanted Evening as a principle dancer, Head over heels as snake, a dance film known as Remembrance and Ring Shout Choreographed by Tamara Williams, as well as a dancer in Resonance Bodies by E.E. Balcos. With her time spent at UNCC over the past couple years; She has studied under —established—Sequina DuBose and Laura London Waringer. As well as studying underneath Val Underwood, artistic director of Hawaii Performing Arts Festival and Dr.Paulina Villarreal at University of Memphis. Her work not only as a dancer but with her singing background impact heavily on her progression within the performing arts.
