about us
Caroline Calouche & Co. and the Charlotte Cirque & Dance Center are a circus arts and dance company and affiliated school founded with the mission to build confidence, emotional intelligence, and community connection through dynamic dance and circus arts experiences. We celebrate diverse backgrounds and creative collaboration in both performance and education.
Founded in 2006 by dancer and circus artist Caroline Calouche, Charlotte-based dance company Caroline Calouche & Co. transfixes audiences with dynamic performances that combine dance and circus arts. In 2016 we added our school, Charlotte Cirque & Dance Center, which brings the same mesmerizing joy we feature on stage to adults and young people from age six. We are one of the few schools and professional companies that brings together dance and circus arts in the United States.
We reach over 15,000 students and adults annually.

If you are interested in adult or children’s circus and dance classes—where you or your child will have the opportunity to challenge yourselves in an exhilarating and nurturing environment, take a look at our current class offerings here.
