Dr. Bridget Kelly-Sinha
Bridget, is a physical therapist and the owner of Balanced Physical Therapy and Dance Wellness in Matthews, NC She attended Elon University where she began training as a BFA Dance Performance and Choreography major. After many dance-related injuries, she began studying dance biomechanics and injury prevention. This interest led her to develop an independent major in Dance Science. After completing her BA in Dance Science, Bridget worked as Director of Dance Medicine and Conditioning in a physical therapy practice. While working closely with physical therapists there, it became clear that physical therapy would be a great career path to help both dancers and non-dancers rehabilitate from injuries and improve their quality of life.
Bridget went on to attend the University of Kentucky, where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. Prior to relocating to Charlotte, she has been a practicing physical therapist in Minneapolis, MN where she specialized in working with dancers, runners, and treating chronic low back and neck pain. Bridget has also worked as a personal trainer and Pilates instructor. Her dance biomechanics research has been presented internationally. She is also an active member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science. She is honored to be involved with Caroline Calouche & Co to help foster the dance community in the Charlotte area. A global pandemic has shown us that the arts are a fragile commodity but more important than ever!

Patricia is a proud graduate of SC State University! I currently serve as a Youth Success Coach for the Reentry to Resilience Program with Communities in Schools NC as well as a Certified Youth Life Coach with The Future Project. I have 10 years of experience teaching dance and fitness to children and have taught at various Mecklenburg and York County Parks and Recreation Centers and Johnston YMCA. When teaching dance, I like to use physical movement to express stories and emotions in innovative ways, and I am a strong proponent of teaching others how to do the same. I consistently view the arts as a way to enrich both performers’ and viewers’ lives. My passion is introducing dance and the arts to persons who for whatever reason cannot or has not engaged in the arts. In my spare time, I like spending time with the loves of my life(my husband, our 3 mini-adults and dog Ziggy). They help balance me.
