Jennifer enjoys regional work with inventive theatre and dance companies and has been the lighting designer for CC&Co. since 2008. Regional credits from classics to experimental include; Rooms and AESTUO-Dogma Engine, Clara’s Trip, A Goddess Tale, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Bus Stop, Dracula, Angels, Charlotte Dance Festival, Nutcracker, Mysterioso, A Christmas Carol and The Scarlett Pimpernel for NC Shakespeare Festival, Alban Elved Dance Co., Caroline Calouche & Co., Clarence Brown Theatre, Winston-Salem Festival Ballet, and Triad Stage. She also enjoys art direction and production design for film and television including Shuffleton’s Barbershop, The Shunning, The Confession, Juwanna Mann, Having Our Say and Home of the Giants. Jennifer earned her MFA at UNCSA and operates Muse Scenic Studio in Winston-Salm, NC.

Production and Stage Manager
Valerie Wheeler has served as a Production Stage Manager at opera companies and festivals across the US, including New York City Opera, Portland Opera, Opera Carolina, Toledo Opera, Opera Grand Rapids, Wichita Grand Opera, Wolf Trap Opera Company, Opera Cleveland, University of Southern California/Thornton Opera, Opera Santa Barbara and Chautauqua Opera. With over 25 years of experience in the field, among her additional roles and credits, she served as Production Manager for the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival from 2010-2017.
Community Engagement Manager
Karen Peterson, has lived in Charlotte, NC for over 20 years where she started a family after 10 years of marketing experience with Fortune 500 companies. She earned a B.S. in Marketing and M.B.A. at University of Tennessee. Her experience with dance and performing arts is from being blessed with a daughter whose passion for the arts kept her heavily involved in the dance community. She also focused on volunteering in the PTA for several years. Now, she is ready to return to her first love, marketing and looks forward to building new connections and opportunities for Caroline Calouche & Co. and Charlotte Cirque & Dance Center.
Skyla Caldwell, A.R.A.D. trained at the Charlotte School of Ballet under Gay Porter Speer and The Point Park Conservatory in Pittsburgh, PA as a scholarship student under the direction of Robert Munoz. Skyla has danced for NCDT as an apprentice under Salvatore Aiello and Jerry Kumery. Caldwell has also danced at the National Ballet of Cuba under Laura Alonzo in Havana, Cuba, and is associated with the Royal Academy of London. Caldwell has danced with the Moving Poets Theater of Dance for the last eight years and is currently serving as the Ballet Mistress of the Union County Youth Ballet.
Tricia is the owner and head draper for The Patterned Seamstress, a costume build shop. Previously located in Las Vegas, Nevada, she now services clients from Nevada/California and the East Coast out of North Carolina. Tricia has built her business over the last six years with fifteen years professional wardrobe and costume experience. She spent eleven years in Las Vegas working on large productions such as “Jersey Boys”, “The Lion King” and “LeReve”. Proceeding Las Vegas, she spent two years on the national tour of “The Full Monty”. She specializes in pattern making and difficult builds for acrobatic performers. Some of her clients include “Blue Man Group”, Spiegelworld, Wynn Las Vegas, and Cirque du Soleil. She holds herself to a very high standard in all that she does, which has helped build her reputation and continued success in the entertainment business.
Charlotte Cirque & Dance Center School Manager
Kristin Bridges is from Winston-Salem, NC and discovered her passion for the arts through community theatre. She attended UNC Greensboro for Theatre and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York for Musical Theatre Performance. While in New York she worked with HHC Marketing, Telsey Casting, and was Marketing and Creative Director for Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival. She moved to Charlotte in 2016 and discovered her love of Aerial Arts with Aerial CLT. She is a professional petsitter and also a volunteer for the Humane Society of Charlotte and Blumenthal Performing Arts.
