Russell Woo
Russell Woo is a dancer, aerialist, and musician. Originally hailing from Texas, he studied at the Royal Academy in London, where he was also able to perform on such stages as the Apollo Victoria, Wembley Arena, Wigmore Hall, and the Royal Albert Hall. Moving back to the US in 2014 to pursue additional artistic projects, Russell has spent the last several years performing, training, and coaching in a number of disciplines, as a dancer (contemporary, jazz), an acrobat (flying trapeze and trampoline wall) and as an aerialist (fabric, hammock, duo trapeze).
Russell is also the creator of Piano in the Sky, an one-of-a-kind apparatus that blends music and movement on an aerial piano. In his spare time, Russell also works on projects supporting corporate digital strategy and international development.
