Frankie Lee III

Frankie Lee III is the Founder & Artistic Director of FLEE DANCE. He is a two-time Isadora Duncan Award nominee, Webby Award winner, the 2022 Artist of Excellence Prism Award winner & a 2025 Ann Weston Hicks Choreographic Fellow of Jacob Pillow. He graduated from the high school & college program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts & trained at American Dance Festival, the Merce Cunningham Trust, Alonzo King LINES Dance Center, Shen Wei Dance Arts & Spring Board Danse Montreal, to name a few.

 

After receiving his BFA in Dance, Frankie has danced professionally with 30+ companies nationwide as a Freelance Artist. Under FLEE DANCE, He has taught on faculty for 90+ organizations & choreographed 50+ works thus far. Frankie is a Flexologist certified in Applied Stretching Theory & Practice, as well as a Personal Trainer certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is excited to join Caroline Calouche & Co.
