Starting her circus career in Blythewood SC showcasing flaming hula hoops in 2008 with the circus ensemble Alternacirque, Gina Wolfe lives to be in the limelight. Studying at the countries best circus schools (San Diego Circus Center, San Francisco Circus Center, Athletic Playground and The prestigious New England Center for Circus Arts) she has graced the stage in lyra, aerial silks, dance trapeze, hoops, stilting, and fire performance all over the country. In 2013 she returned home and co-founded Soda City Cirque; a non-profit circus group dedicated to increasing social awareness of critical issues facing Southern communities.
At the age of 40 she took up studying Partner Acrobatics and after 5 years of being a student went on to perform with Internationally acclaimed Pitch Catch Circus School of Acrobatics. She is a certified lyra, fabric, and trapeze instructor and gained her International Partner Acrobatics teacher certification while studying in Spain in 2018. When not working the stage or training, she can be found snuggling with her cat, reading a good book, teaching students in Columbia SC and cleaning up all the glitter.
