Ashlyn Carlini

Ashlyn Carlini is a movement artist from Charleston, South Carolina. This will be her first time performing with Caroline Calouche this winter. Her movement background began in gymnastics and competitive cheerleading. Ashlyn coached gymnastics for 5 years and shared her love for movement and inspiring the youth. She moved to Charleston to pursue a degree in psychology, and found Uptown Aerial Arts in the process. She has performed locally six times, with one being her own production at The Charleston Gaillard Center. In addition to training on silks, she also enjoys rope, lyra, and partner acrobatics. Her dream is to perform for a living and travel as much as she can.

 

In her free time, Ashlyn enjoys hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, dancing, and figure skating.
